[Events] Skyfall

Let the Skyfalllllll

Title of the event has truly been shamelessly ripped off from Nugget Bridge.

Ever wondered why the move Sky Drop was banned from competitive play, regardless of battle format and allowed Pokemon? The reason is nothing more than t that a game-breaking glitch would occur should Gravity be used with a Pokemon having used Sky Drop beforehand, trapping both the target and the user of Sky Drop in the air for the rest of the battle.

Sky Drop itself, though, is certainly an amazing move on paper, with nearly endless possibilities, seeing potential use as a tool to stall, a form of pseudo-speed control, or even a move to help ensure setup.

So how would the Metagame shift if we allowed Sky Drop? (Unfortunately the only way to implement Sky Drop without risking said game breaking glitch is to ban Gravity)

This event will be held at E2Max Gym, located on the 9th Floor of Orchard Cinelesiure, on Saturday, the 13th of April tentatively. Event registration will begin at approximately 2.30pm, and the event should start by 3pm latest.
