  27. わたる(Japan, Kanagawa), 1500. 0-1 Lose
    • misplayed a few turns, like getting Spore blocked by opp. Kingdra's Sub, not expecting Feint on opp. Hitmontop, and opp. Scizor had a Lum Berry.
  28. Ben =DD (??), 1528. 0-2 Lose
    • well played by opponent
  29. エレン (Japan, Kanagawa), 1578. 0-2 Lose
    • i had a feeling opp. Metagross carried Ice Punch which was why it stayed in a few turns on my LandorusT, but on hindsight I was probably completely paranoid because it never actually did, and i lost Togekiss early in the game which allowed opp Conkeldurr to wreck through my entire team
  30. あやか (Japan, Kanagawa), 1500. 1-0 Win
    • opponent let his game idle at the start, so his team was randomly picked (first four) and together with the first few moves. then i let my guard down a little when suddenly METAGROSS CARRIED ICE PUNCH, and i was like ...

    • opponent did only 3 things iirc : Blastoise Water Spout spam, Typhlosion Eruption spam, Garchomp Earthquake spam. i miscalculated the speeds and thought Typhlosion had the scarf when Blastoise was the one holding the scarf; so while i thought it was safe once opp. Typhlosion was brought down to less than 50%, Blastoise comes in and Water Spouts everything >.>

  4. SOLO (??), 1680. 2-0 Win, opp DC while sending score

Team Statistics

Number of Registered Battles: 77
Peak Rating: 1689 (current rating)

Usage:
33/77 (42.9%) | 77/77 (100%) | 70/77 (90.9%) | 63/77 (81.8%) | 12/77 (15.6%) | 53/77 (68.8%)

Props:
  • still amazed at how many Hitmontops still go for the Fake Out despite Togekiss being (obviously) faster and is most likely to have Follow Me.
  • Serence Grace Air Slash + partner Rock Slide flinching is awesome
  • Breloom is awesome. OHKOs Scarf Ttars, Bisharps, Rindo Gastrodons, Wacan Politoeds, and sometimes Mamoswine, despite being a glass cannon.

Slops:
  • half the time i'm wishing Ttar had Ice Punch instead of Low Kick, which made it easier to deal with Garchomp/LandorusT/Gliscor/levitating Dragons/ all the ground types
  • Thundurus is very lonely because i only brought it out when the opponent had too many Water types or when the opponent attempts to set up things like Blissey. and things with Wacan Berry make Thundurus really really sad :<
  • at the start of the competition everyone was really enthusiastic and all, but nearing the end everyone stayed away for fear of losing ratings or being ragequitted upon, which made it really hard to continue. you know its time to stop when nobody stays on after you've won, and that happening in the morning of the last day isn't really a good sign. (unless monday is a school day :p)
