New posting features documentation

This thread will be updated with the documentation of new posting features, such as smileys and BBcodes, as they are added to the forums.

Update: 18 Aug 2012 - Added the [ iv ] and [ ivhp ] tags

[ iv ] automatically formats IV spreads as shown, with special colouring/underlining for 31, 30, 1 and 0 IVs.
Please use 'x' to indicate unknown IVs - this will be formatted to 'xx'.

  Code:
[iv]31/30/1/0/x/15[/iv]

[ ivhp ] does the same thing, but in addition, automatically calculates the Hidden Power of the IV spread and displays it alongside.

  Code:
[ivhp]31/30/31/30/30/x[/ivhp] - Any non-numerical IVs will return 'Invalid HP'
[ivhp]31/30/31/30/30/31[/ivhp]
[ivhp]31/31/31/30/30/31[/ivhp]

and etc

Re: New posting features documentation

Update: 23 Aug 2012 - Added sprites, back sprites (both non-shiny and shiny) and minisprites through the [ sprite ] bbcode

Usage of the tag will be [ sprite=(identifier) ] National Dex No. [ /sprite ]. Importantly, the dex no. is no longer 3 digits long, meaning that for example, Bulbasaur would be specified by 1 and not 001.

The identifier is a sequence of letters specifying whether the sprite is a front, back or mini sprite and whether it is shiny.

Front sprites: (specify these by omitting the identifier)

  Code:
[sprite]6[/sprite] [sprite]12[/sprite] [sprite]150[/sprite] [sprite]250[/sprite] [sprite]382[/sprite] [sprite]483[/sprite] [sprite]644[/sprite]

Back sprites: (specify these by using 'b' as the identifier)

  Code:
[sprite=b]6[/sprite] [sprite=b]12[/sprite] [sprite=b]150[/sprite] [sprite=b]250[/sprite] [sprite=b]382[/sprite] [sprite=b]483[/sprite] [sprite=b]644[/sprite]

Shiny front sprites: (specify these by using 's' as the identifier)

  Code:
[sprite=s]6[/sprite] [sprite=s]12[/sprite] [sprite=s]150[/sprite] [sprite=s]250[/sprite] [sprite=s]382[/sprite] [sprite=s]483[/sprite] [sprite=s]644[/sprite]

Shiny back sprites: (specify these by using 'bs' or equivilently, 'sb' as the identifier)

  Code:
[sprite=bs]6[/sprite] [sprite=bs]12[/sprite] [sprite=bs]150[/sprite] [sprite=bs]250[/sprite] [sprite=sb]382[/sprite] [sprite=sb]483[/sprite] [sprite=sb]644[/sprite]

Minisprites: (specify these by using 'm' as the identifier)
* Note: since these are only front-facing and non-shiny, the presence of 'm' in the identifier will override the shiny and back options, such that 'sbm', 'ms', 'bm' etc will all equivilently specify the same minisprite.

  Code:
[sprite=m]6[/sprite] [sprite=m]12[/sprite] [sprite=m]150[/sprite] [sprite=m]250[/sprite] [sprite=m]382[/sprite] [sprite=m]483[/sprite] [sprite=m]644[/sprite]

In addition, certain Pokemon have gender/forme differences between their sprites, so this information must be specified by a dash behind their national dex no. and the appropriate suffix:
